Catenary systems
A model that contains a catenary system. The model includes masts, cables and foundations, suspension hangers, cable separators, contact wire, carrying rope, etc.
The catenary system model is produced as the basis for the contractor’s execution and includes information for the placing of overhead contact system installations.
The model is used in project planning to develop the railway’s overall catenary system and to ensure consistency as well as to avoid collisions with other existing or new elements. Additionally, the model can be used for collision control with interfacing projects and for example, in relation to drainage, wiring and construction. Furthermore, the model can be used to check signal visibility.
