Banedanmark provides VPN access to its IT users, allowing them to connect to relevant IT systems and data from an external location. The access is secured through multifactor authentication.
In order to use the VPN, you need to have been given access details (initials and password) by Banedanmark and have a Banedanmark PC. If you do not have a Banedanmark PC, only limited access is granted to specific programmes.
- Who can be given access?
All Banedanmark employees and external consultants with Banedanmark access details and a Banedanmark PC can access the VPN.
External consultants without a Banedanmark PC are asked to contact their Banedanmark contact person.
- How do you get access?
Please write to Servicedesk at firstname.lastname@example.org, stating your Banedanmark username and the computer’s WS number. Expect a few days’ wait before access is granted.
External consultants without a Banedanmark PC are asked to contact their Banedanmark contact person to apply for access to specific systems. A longer waiting time is expected for this type of access.
