Corridor for rail
A model that contains track embankment, and can consist of top and bottom ballast, sub-ballast, subsoil, cant, slopes and ditches. It is produced using line alignment and connects to, for example, existing terrain and structures.
The model is produced as the basis for the contractor’s setting out process. These models can be used for machine control systems however at the same time are used as the basis for safe compliance of Banedanmark’s requirements. The model can also be used in calculating quantities before, during and after the construction process.
